Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

“January 20, 2021

I am what I can describe as a “giant girl” I’m, a woman, but still somewhat figuring out her adulthood. Or a little girl in a woman’s body. Can anyone relate?
Is there a moment when Time tells us when we are girl or woman? Perhaps.
But is it when we first menstruate? Or when one seems mature? When she gets her first job? Or when she can bear children?
I feel like God is telling me a defining way on how to transition fully into a woman. Though I still feel like I’m working at it:
It is when one knows and owns that she is Fearfully and Wonderfully made by the Creator. Like it says in Psalm 139:14.
Yes, that could be when. 😊
One day I wrote “I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE” on the mirror when I was struggling with self love…
This poem is inspired by that scene.
WRITING ON THE MIRROR
Minute lines
Soon to forget
Bags under eyes

Constantly set

Who am I?
The world hasn’t met,
How I know?

Because I haven’t yet.

Girl
On the Mirror
Writes:

“Wonderfully Made”

Now Woman
Now delighted

Now unequivocally remade

This woman I meet,
This I praise.
And may all the giant girls pray,

“𝓘 𝓐𝓶 𝓕𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓯𝓾𝓵𝓵𝔂 & 𝓦𝓸𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓯𝓾𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓜𝓪𝓭𝓮!”

All Glory and Honor to You Great Father for having me write this out this morning. May You guide and protect these wonderful women of God. May all your children know you love them. Amen.”

Thankful that a sis from Christian Modeling Association reacted and commented on this post in Model With Purpose. Completely forgot about it..
